By accessing our website, booking a free consultation, or contracting our services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.

1. Services and Scope of Work

Texas Lit LLC specializes in the design, supply, installation, and maintenance of UL-listed permanent LED lighting systems for residential and commercial properties throughout Texas, including San Antonio, Austin, Houston, and surrounding regions. Our services include:

  • Permanent architectural, holiday, and security LED lighting installations.
  • Custom smartphone-controlled lighting configuration and app setup.
  • Retrofit kits and controller upgrade packages for existing systems.
  • Free property assessments, consultations, and estimates.

Specific project deliverables, timelines, materials, and costs will be outlined in a written proposal or contract provided to you prior to installation.

2. Consultations, Quotes, and Pricing

All estimates and initial quotations provided via our website or over the phone are preliminary and based on customer-provided information. Final pricing is subject to on-site roofline inspection, linear footage verification, structural accessibility, and electrical requirements.

  • Quotes are valid for thirty (30) days from issuance unless otherwise noted in writing.
  • A deposit may be required prior to scheduling installation dates and ordering project-specific materials.
  • Final payment is due upon successful completion of the installation as outlined in your service agreement.

3. Customer Responsibilities and Property Access

To ensure a smooth, professional installation, the customer agrees to:

  • Provide safe, unhindered access to the installation areas (roofline, fascia, eaves, electrical outlets, and attic spaces where necessary) on the scheduled installation date.
  • Ensure a dedicated, operational electrical power source is available within reasonable proximity to the lighting controller.
  • Verify that any required Homeowners Association (HOA), landlord, or municipal architectural permissions are obtained prior to installation. Texas Lit LLC is not liable for HOA or municipal non-compliance penalties.
  • Secure pets and remove potential hazards around the perimeter of the work area.

4. Product Warranty and Workmanship

Texas Lit LLC stands behind the quality and durability of its lighting solutions:

  • Manufacturer & System Warranty: Our permanent LED lighting systems carry manufacturer warranties covering LED fixtures, track channels, and system controllers against material defects.
  • Workmanship Guarantee: We back our professional installations with a workmanship warranty covering installation labor and structural fastening under normal usage.
  • Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage caused by severe weather events (hail, lightning, hurricanes, floods, tornadoes), structural building movement, unauthorized third-party tampering or modifications, electrical surges, physical vandalism, or improper maintenance by non-certified personnel.

5. Permitted Use of Website

When accessing or using texaslitco.com, you agree that you will not:

  • Use the website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of federal, state, or local laws.
  • Transmit harmful, fraudulent, or malicious code, viruses, or automated scripts.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability for any claims relating to our services exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific installation or service giving rise to the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Texas Lit LLC, its directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of our services.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions and any dispute or claim arising out of or related to our website or services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without giving effect to any choice of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be instituted exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bexar County, Texas.
